What is better Halo 3 or Gears Of War 2?

Just wondering what other people like better. I think they both have good ideas. I think halo 3's better.

gears of war is WAAYYYY better.!! halo is not really that fun all the time,,its just the awesome intensity of GOW

That' s a hard one ..it deepen on you if you like effects Gears Of War is it but if you like the battle mode and play online halo 3 hands down

i personally cannot make this decision. because i think that gears takes more skill to play because at low levels people will shred you to pieces online and the story is amazing! but halo 3 has a multiplayer that allows you and up to 3 of your buddies to play on the same box. and its a solid game to through and through. and online the guys get to be ridiculous. i guess, just through overall difficulty im going with gears.

well i borrowed halo 3 from a friend and while it was fun, i seem to like gears of war 2 better. they have better multiplayer options

I feel Gears is better for gore and graphics and just overall better story mode, but halo 3 is better for live because of the custom maps and pvp they have there. Halo 3 custom made maps are very addictive.

GoW 2 the campaign is better, horde is also really fun, but the multiplayer is just plain horrible, absolutely crap. Halo 3 has an okay campaign, forge is very good, theaters is very original and innovative, with the new maps coming to marketplace, there will also probably be a boost to the alerady heft amount of players in Halo 3 matchmaking. H3 is better
