The best to get a general in Halo 3 would be:
1)make a new accout
2)get a good halo 3 player and ONLY DO DOUBLES!!!
is the fastest and easiest wasy to get a 50.
3)after you have your 50 just do social games their really easy to win and so you will get experience that way.

If you follow those instruction you should get a general. It may say like it would take longer but it is the easyiest way to get a general. if you have any more question about halo at all my gamertag is (vothe reaper ov) im a 46 in lone wolves im better than most of my 50 friends they all got theirs in doubles. and i can't play this week cause i have to focus on swimming and exams but i will be on next week.

There really isn't a quick way to do it, it is going to take some time and a lot of effort to become the general. When the next weekend or holiday comes up have a couple of friends come over and you all play the game until you become general. The game might get boring if your just sitting at home playing by yourself, that's what the friends are for.

it will take alot more than a weekend. unless you know someone who can boost your account, which is btw considered cheating by Bungie.

u should just take a weekend and a lot of food and drinks and just sit in front of the tv and play till ur a genneral
