what was the halo game that i believe was limited edition that came out

after halo 2 but before halo 3? i've had a feud with the bf on this subject
i am almost positive that there was a game released for the 360 kind of like a beta for halo 3 and it was limited edition so you can no longer buy it.

if there is what was it called! i remember i didn't have my 360 when it came out and i wanted to play it so bad but couldn't. thanks!

There was a beta for Halo 3 that came with Crackdown, but it was not a halo game. It was so you could try out Halo 3 before it actually came out.

It was just called the Halo 3 Beta.

And it was actually just Halo 3 gametypes and maps...now you can just play Halo 3.

There is no Halo game inbetween 2 and 3.
There WAS a Halo 3 Beta That came with the Game Crackdown.
I'm sure that's what your thinking of.

There is no difference between the Beta and the Regular game. The beta Was only multiplayer.
Nothing different.

You can still buy Crackdown and See if the Beta version still works I guess. But if you have halo 3 there is No reason to Buy it Unless you want to play Crackdown. It is a good game.

There was an xbox 360 game that gave you temporary access to the halo 3 beta if you bought it once it came out.

The game really sucked. They put the halo 3 beta access code on the game so people would buy it. You were able to get the key code if you bought Crackdown.
