When i beat the 8th level on Halo 3 odst it doesnt go to the next level but the...

...first level of the game? Every time i beat the 8th mission on halo 3 odst (the one where you fly around in a banshee). Instead of takeing me to the next level it goes back to the first level. Why is this?
I start the 8th level at the begining, and after i beat it. Then it goes to the level mombasa streets. I get to the beacon and its a recon helmet in the T.V screen. Then it takes me to the second level. Is there a different beacon im suppose to find?

If you start from a certain point you have to go through and play all the missions before you can move on. (It's annoying I know but me and my friends had to do this for Audio logs.)
