where did my katana and security helmet go? halo 3?

I just got the security helmet and katana for halo 3 and then i got the catch skull and now its gone. I'm thinking that i shouldnt have had it in the first place because i only have 970 GS and i should have 1000. Does anyone else have any suggestions to why it dissapeared?

This happened to my friend. He had the security shoulders at 300 and something (instead of the required 750). Once he hooked his xbox upto live and got the achievement for getting 5xp (i forget its name) he lost the armour. I think it is the game correcting itself when the GS updates. Unfortunately the only way around it seems to be to get the full 1000. Are there any easy achievements you have left getting 30 GS shouldn't be too much trouble if so....

Bungie caught you. They think u hacked to get it (there is a hack for the katana and security). so they took it away. if possible gett the new map pack and the skulls on there (they are really easy and worth 25gs). if u didnt hack it then idk how u got it.
