Why can't I play big team social in halo 3?

If you wanna play Big Team Social in Halo 3
You need the Halo 3 Map Avalanche which is included in the Legendary Map Pack.

The Legendary Map Pack isn't free yet so you have to buy it.

So just wait it out Bungie will eventually let you download the Legendary Map Pack for free.

So just play regular social slayer for now.

I think you need the legendary maps right now, it will change as new map packs come out, and i think legendary is now free, but im not sure, I haven't checked recently
