why wont halo 3 work?

i bought the heroic maps for halo 3 but it still wont let me play on ranked matches. why is this?

Could you tell us a bit more about your setup? I presume you have all the minimum spec required (in the case of a PC version).

I'd guess it's a server setting. Not everyone will have bought the maps you have so to maintain broadest possible compatability, heroic maps might be included in ranked matches. This might change if the server admins deem the maps to be suitable for ranked play.

Yup u need the legendary levels.

You need legendary and sometimes even mythic for most stuff. If you have a scratched game, put it in a bowl full of water.

Did you get the legendary maps because you need those.....

For certain levels it requires you to have all of the non-cold storage DLC. This includes heroic AND the mythic and legendary maps. I am pretty sure the only ranked match you can play without purchasing the other maps is "Lone Wolves". If you really want to play then you will have to pay, as crappy as that may seem. Otherwise just stick to the few social matches they allow you to play.

You need to be the legendary level in order to be able to do that.
