Will Halo ever make it's way to the Playstation 3?

With the recent downfall of the HD DVD (Toshiba finally quit) do you think the people over at Bungie will release PS3 versions of Halo considering the fact that the PS3 is expected to outsell both Xbox 360 and Wii by 2010?

Bungie was acquired by Microsoft in 2000, becoming part of Microsoft Game Studios, until the two separated on October 1, 2007 (officially announced on October 5, 2007). Bungie is now a second-party developer, based in Kirkland, Washington.

Don't think so. MS owns copyrights on Halo series. It's one of their last cards in console war (imho, MS already lost it, with all hardware problems and HD-DVD turning out to be a big failure). MS would never sell it to Sony.

No, the Halo series is owned by Microsoft and the whole Halo thing is played out in my opinion and the majority of people found Halo 3 to be a big let down anyways. I'd rather play Haze, Resistance 2, and Killzone 2 over Halo anyday.

Also, I read in a magazine article a while ago that even though Bungie is no longer owned by Microsoft that Bungie doesn't plan to develop games for the Playstation 3, they plan to stick with just developing games for the 360. I think that I read that in an EGM magazine article around late last year.

I wasn't suprised to hear that Bungie was going to only make games for the 360 or other consoles other than the PS3 because Bungie knows that all they have to do is come out with a new game and everybody that has a 360 is going to buy it just because it's made by them. Also, Bungie is more familiar with developing on the 360 and the Xbox, and Bungie doesn't want to take the extra the time and money to develop for the PS3 because as everyone knows, developing games for the PS3 is no easy task.

No, but Bungie did recently free themselves from Micro$oft. It is however unlikely that Micro$oft would sell the exclusive rights to one of the biggest titles ever even if it is past its day already. The franchise is more important and they will be willing to pay a lot to maintain it in their corner.

If anything you might see a Halo 4 on there but don't count on it.

On that note the Xbox and the Wii are still killing the PS3 in sales so how is it going to pass the other two consoles?

Oh no HD-DVD is out!?!?!

How will MS ever compete with games like:

- Gears of War 2
- Halo Wars
- Too Human
- Fable 2
- Frontline: Fuels of War
- Left 4 Dead
- GTA IV (with EXCLUSIVE DLC)

I mean how will MS ever handle the pressue?

Also, Bungie has ALREADY STATED they are in a full partnership with MS.

Don't worry because PS3 still have blu-ray!! LOL!!!
