Xbox 360 Froze In Halo 3?

Should I be worried about this? I just bought a 360 that was used (Core) and was playing Halo 3. The first time, I was in match making, and started steaming music off of my computer and it froze, the second time, it just randomly gave me a message saying the disc was unreadable, and took me back to the dashboard, and the 3rd, it just stopped at a black screen, and played an odd space themed type sound. I started it up again, and there were no red rings or anything... No other game does this that I have tried so far...
Also, forgot to mention, the disc is scratched

Trust me on this one. It's Broken, sadly. I had the same problem on 3 of my Xbox 360's. I am now on my 5th. On my 3rd one, I got the disk is unreadable message and the game turned black and froze. Geniously, I bought the 2 year warranty when I bought my first Xbox. I brought it back to Best Buy and now I have a newer model of the Xbox and it is a beauty. Hope this helps.

My 360 did this to Halo, Fight Night, and Gears of War, but never did it to my friend

if no other games do it then it must be the game but as soon as you see it starts freezing on the dashbord the red ring comes next
