in halo 3 does the master chief die if he does how?

You have got to be kidding me! This is insane! Why cant you people just look at the other threads that are on here? There are 1,000,000 threads about "Does Master Chief Die?". Is it that hard to look at one of those instead of posting more useless threads?

yes, he dies. at the end scene he is sitting in the back of the frigate when it blows up........... so every one except the arbiter and lord hood dies (ie. johnson and miranda a cortrana)

*spoiler* no he doesn't the people on earth think he is dead but he is really in space with his fellow companion cortana.

No, master chief doesnt actually die. Only if you beat the game in expert/legendary mode can u see the real ending. If u beat the game in any other mode, it just shows master chief dying.

No it dosent, get your facts straight before you post. It seems that MC dies, but he doesent. Watch after the credits there is more. And if you beat it on legendary you get to see an extended version of the after credits part. You will see the regular after credits movie if you beat it on Easy, Normal, or Heroic. And beating that last lvl on legendary will add more to the regular after the credits part.
