About halo 3 avatars.?

I would like to know if i use a halo 3 avatar do i need to get the ok from microsoft or anything?

If you're using it in any official capacity I would get an ok. But if you're using it on an instant messaging program chances are no one will even notice, let alone care. Now, if you mean on XBOX live, then I'm not sure. But they offer Halo 3 avatars to buy in the Marketplace, so if you are using one you didn't buy they might get peeved about that. Hope that helped!
