Anyone got Halo 3, please help Stuck on 1st level?

on the damn waterfall. All my marines just crawl right up it. Theres nothing so obvious as a "crawl" button I try to run or jump up it I just fall off PLEASE HELP ME IM ABOUT TO THROW MY 360 THROUGH MY $^&$ing WINDOW
I meant the rocks next to the water fall. I can jump up a little, but no matter where else I jump I just fall right back down. Ive been stuck on it for like a half hour now....

i know they crawl up, but you need to jump to get up there, if you go to the right a bit then theres a spot where you can get up
