CAN A HALO 3 BRUTE SMELL YOU IN the halo 3 CAMPAIGN?

i was wondering that its possible for brutes to smell you

Yup it is absolutely possible. At the end of one level where you are invisible and there is the room of brutes with jetpacks and gravity hammers and you're invisible, one of them says he smells you. They do actually say that they smell you on many occasions.

Nah. they cant smell you. if they can, u wont be able to sneak up on them.
