Can anyone give me tips, advice, and strategys in halo 3 xbox live?

Ok so every time me and my friends play I get the least amount of kills and I always get frustrated. Can anyone plz give me really advice,tips,and straegys on getting more kills and getting killed less then my friends.

idk if this will work for u but i go to a custum game bymyself take a look around the map so i know were everything is then look at sumtihng i want to shoot at and shoot all most like tarrget practice
