scratched disk of the same game.? A few weeks ago I found that my Halo 3 disk had a circular scratch going around it after taking it out of my 360. When I tried playing it later the console said it couldnt read the disk and told me to clean it and restart the console. I tried that with obviosly little success. I was wondering if I could have my friend loan me his copy of the game and install it onto my hard drive then play it from the hardrive with the scratche3d disk in the disk tray. Also, would my friend still be able to play his copy on his console after its installed on my console?

Thank you.
god bless

I am pretty sure that the only thing installing the game on your hard-drive will do, is make the game run faster, (less loading time, not as laggy). I shouldn't make any difference if you install or not. But you might as well give it a go. There's no harm in trying that.

And your friend will still be able to play halo on his console, weather you install it on your console or not.

Good luck =)

p.s the circular scratches on your disk is most likely from moving your 360 around while the disk is inside and spinning.
