can I play Halo 3 in the US with a person playing Halo 3 in the UK ?

I recently bought an XBox 360 with Halo 3 and it should be here in the next 2 days.

Im wondering if I would be able to play the game with my sister who is in the UK ?

Yeah. The lag for the UK isn't as bad as their making it seem. But Japans lag is horrible.

You can play people in other countries, I actually play with my cousin that is currently based in Japan for the Marines! But there is ALOT of lag so be prepared.
