Can you lower your skill rating in Halo 3?

today is the 7th and all my skills are higher than 7, so I am currently not eligible for the acheivement for having a skill rating of 7 on the 7th of a month. My lowest rating is a 9, can my skill decrease if I lose significantly?

Yes but dropping ur skill just for gamerpoints doesnt seem smart

Nope, no matter what happens your highest skill lvl will never drop, only your exp. So once you get to a highest skill, atleast that level will be stuck with you forever. Also, in my opinion I don't think it's worth to drop your skill level just to get a stupid achievement, especially since that achievement is worth 0pts...

i did the same thing you did cause i had 8 exp.it works fine so go ahead and quit to 7.
