Can you talk smack during game play on XBOX LIVE for HALO 3?

i have a headset...it works for other games during gameplay....but for halo 3..i hear ppl talking...but i cant talk...why is that???? do i have to press a button to talk or something????

Yea... Hold the LB button to talk if you are talking and no one can hear you.

look at ur switch on the input on ur 360 controller. is it switched to mute? or are u muted for talking trash in the game? or in games 8 ppl and over u have to press the d pad to talk.

Well, it depends on the type of game on it. In some people around you can hear you, in some you can't talk, and in some you have to press a direction on the d pad for it to activate the voice.

check your halo 3 options. that might help.

I think you have to use the d-pad.

if you have family setting make sure they allow you to talk on the game channel, make sure your mic is not muted, or call xbox there are phone #'s everywhere!
