On ranked do you only get skill or do you get skill and exp?

By playing any ranked game or social game, you get 1 experience for winning, 0 for losing, and -1 for quitting early.

You only get skill by playing ranked games, and winning them.

While experience changes on a game to game basis, skill goes up much slower. You will have to win a bunch of games before it goes up.
