I've said it many times. HUmans team up with Elites and save the universe. But will it actually happen. Humans and Elites kind of hate eachother. The Arbiter, maybe, but the others are busy killing brutes. If the Arbiter DOES show up. He probably will not be playable. Elites and Humans don't look like they'd go together very well. Arbiter and MC,, yeah. Both are genetically engineered. (Another Theory why Elites can speak english and not Blarg~Honk.) What to you think?

TO support your theory everyone follows the arbiter, he is like a god to them, and seeing as chief is a god to the humans, if the arbiter, and chief settle there differences, then the humans, and elites will defiantly team up to stop the halos from activating. Also the covenant is the most advanced race in the galaxy, they probably have been studying us for quiet some time, and was able to translate our language.
ps: chief was enhanced in many ways, the arbiter was not, he is just a honor driven elite
