For all those of you have got Halo 3, what is best difficulty to play it on first...

...time you play through? I'm thinking Heroic as I dont want it ridiculously hard but I do want a good challenge?

I am all about Heroic, just to make it challenging but not really hard. Once You beat it on that, Go for it on Legendary!!!

LEGENDARY!!! when ur used to it like that you will rock on multiplayer

Heroic, definitely. I played through almost all of the levels in Normal and died twice at the hands of my own teammates, that's it. Go for Heroic and then try legendary on co-op. That would be my recommendation.
