Get Lv 50 on Halo 3 fast?

Is it possible to hack an account or use cheat codes to become a General for Halo 3?

I really don't want to spend a bunch of time, like some of my friends did.

If not are there any short cuts at least, or just the fastest way to get to General easily?

Any help will be welcomed

Playing with friends is the only way. Unless you have good friends to play with, the only way your going to get to 50 is in lone wolves, and even then its going to take ALOT of work and skill.
