Halo 3 Achievement Question!?!?

I was bored messing around looking at my service record on Halo 3. I realized to that i have the Gold Spartan Officer Pin but i dont have the Achievement! I even checked on Bungie.net on my profile and it told me that i was a spartan officer!! Why dont i have the Achievement?!?!?!

It's a glitch that happened when they reformatted the xp system in match making. You can unlock the achievement by reaching the rank of lieutenant in any game type. You'll get the spartan officer achievement and the vidmaster challenge: Lightswitch achievements at the same time.

It takes 60 xp in a game type to reach lieutenant.
