Halo 3 Custom Games Help???

Me and my friend want to play custom games!!!! But we dont have Live, and our friends are never on....

is there a way for me and my friend face two other computer players??? like, the computer control some players???

If not, is there a way to have a fun custom game on Halo 3 without Live and friends being online at that time???
k i just figured out you cant do it...so is there a way to play with friends without live gold membership??? like have other ppl as our friends and we go on the xbox 360 at the same time and we can play against each other

first ya tthatd be so awesome with computer players id love that but nah cant do it. the funnest gametype i know of in a 1v1 or small amount of people is to fix the custom game so that theres no weapons on the map and each player keeps getting unlimited plasmas and spike grenades, then u jus jump around and try to stick each other. its really fun and pretty tough

well id say just do co-op. but custom games can be fun just as long as your not playing by yourself.
the only thing that has comp players is the campaign.

you should really invest in live though its only $50 a year

no u cant custom games is for live and for people who is playing on ur 360 u cant use com u can create ur on custom game
