HALO 3 from a Christian perspective?

My parents are worried about me playing Halo 3 because they think it is very violent. I have Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and I think it's fine. I love it, but I want a CHRISTIAN view on Halo 3. Would it be an alright game for a 13 year-old to play???

Infact the Halo story is the oposite of Christian beliefs.. Humans are descendents of an ancient forrunner race...

I dont see why not. I mean unless you are influenced to start going around shooting people,haha, i dont see the harm.
I have a strong christian I have played and my brothers play it alot. and alot of my guy friends play it all the time. so yea.

If you look on the front of the Halo 3 box, it says "Rated M: 17+"
So technically speaking, no. It wouldnt be.

I dunno, I mean it is a game where your shooting people. Aliens vs human type thing. I dont believe there is any cussing (i could be wrong) they may use the lords name in vein tho... I cant remember.
And if your playing online with people I dont think it would be good because there's a lot of swearing and stuff. (you know how people can be)
