How do i turn on the "seventh column" symbol next to my gamertag just before my rank while signed in the bungie.net?

I think you are asking how to Link your GamerTag to Bungie.net

Simply sign-in to Bungie.net and there should be a Link on your Gamer Card in the Top Right-hand side of your browser.

Just follow the instructions and you will have the symbol.
