Halo 3 help?

Help! My brother started a campaign on my profile when i was playing a solo game. My solo gsme got deleted and i was almost done with heroic. Do i have to start all over on a solo game or can i beat trhe rest of the levels on campaign on heroic and still get the achievment for beating it on heroic?
and i didnt delete the whole save slot. Its just instead of resume solo game it says start solo game, but i have the data for everything else like beating it on normal
