When you activate it, it has like an energy field similar to the degenerator (or whatever it's called). Anyway, it instead increases your shields at a rate on par with the rate that the degenerator decreases your shields. So it's useful when you are like 1 on 3 or are about to get owned

what the regenerator does it regenerate your shield back up. u use the regenerator when ur shield is low for example u get shot by a sniper and then ur like omg im shot!! im gona die if he shoots me 1 more time. then u put the regenerator on and ur like yes i feel good as new...then u run away while the sniper tries shooting u.
