halo 3 infection question/tips?

i played halo 3 on infection mode with my friends. when you pla the save one last bullet mode, whats the best way to kill a zombie. i know you use a shotgun, but how many shots are needed to kill zombies easily?

well considering tht you go dast i asume to hid and assinate the person

its usually just one. but if your playing with your friends they probably set the settings to where you have to shoot them a couple of times.
