halo 3 map packs and maps from bungie favorites wont download?!?!?!?

OK this is really bothering me. I just got my xbox360 and i have halo 3 i want the new maps but when i go download them and there free.. it says you do not have the rating to download this and if i wanna download a map from bungie fav. it says i do not have permission the download..why?? please help..

is your gamertag under an age of 18? ive heard that ppl arnt able to play online because of their gamertag (age) is too young. since halo 3 is rated M its only for 17+. Try changing the parental control. if not that see if you could change your age.

when i got mines it ask for parental thing so i change it to where it says i was 18. and when i downloaded the maps it worked fine
