How do you become the team leader of your team in team death match? Like when you and another person (or more)are going to party up?

In halo 3, it is considered party leader when you have the power to choose what you and your party do. You must begin the party and invite your friends into it. If somebody else has it, they can press A on your name and go down to the "give party leader" option. Hope this helps.
