Halo 3 population decrease?

When Halo 3 ODST comes out in 2 days.... will there be a lot of halo 3 player for xbox live??
cuz im buying 1 years xbox live for halo 3 ( to play MLG) during december.....
and i dont like halo 3 ODST( no offense i think they kinda ruined it... but i am exited for HALO REACH!!! ;-)

okay what im basically saying will the halo 3 population inc erase or decrease??

halo 3 odst comes with a standalone disc with every halo 3 map ever made plus 3 new ones so i,m sure a lot of people are going to playing that but i,m sure theres going to be alot more playing firefight.

so a decrease.
