Sorry buddy your gonna have to do what 80% of 360 owners have to do- send your xbox in and wait 6- 8 weeks for it to come back and then hope they actually fixed it because I have 2 friends that sent it in and less than 2 weeks later when they got it back they had the red ring of death again!! MICROSOFT SUX!!!!

my fiancee got the red rings of death the very same day he brought GTA4, he just turned the Xbox on to put the CD in and there they were flashing in his face (i just burst out laughing :D i felt awful, he loves his Xbox about as much as me lol, but its just one of those times you cant help but laugh) anyway i let him go out and buy a whole new Xbox! how many girlfriends would let their guy do that! lol none of my girlfriends even let there boyfriends play it when they are around! anyway there is noway to fix it but send it off, can you buy a new one and sell the old one on Ebay when it gets back to you from Microsoft, thats what my fiancee is doing?
good luck i know how much thats sucks for you guys! another really funny thing was when my fiancee was telling his mates they were acting and saying stuff like "god its like a death in the family" OMG how sad are they! though they are Video game designers so i guess they would be that upset lol!

Oh there was a trick my fiancee heard of (but i would try it, he didnt risk it) but apparently it works, you put a towel around the Xbox and switch it on, let it overheat (not to the point of burning out) but apparently it melts a part of the Xbox that becomes lose and causes the red lights and the melting solders it back together and it works. i dont know weather to believe it though????

Well, you might not have the new maps that these people are playing on, and there is no way for you to fix the red lights problem without sending your Xbox in. Call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX to get that straightened out.
