Halo 3 question - easy 10 points?

Okay so i'm playing team slayer. I want my rank to go up. I need 30 to be a major.

What are the requirements for it to go up?
Besides winning, do I need to get so many kills each game or something?

What are the requirements for Team Doubles also please.

Winning, obviously.

However, the medals you get greatly increase your points - therefore you can get to your rank BEFORE you get to your level.

The harder the medal, the more points you'll get. For example, the "Perfection" medal (15+ kills and no deaths for the duration of a game) will get you crazy points, "Kiltaculars", "Killing Spree"s, an so forth.

When playing team Doubles you have to be MVP to rank up faster. but you still rank up (slower) if you win and your not MVP between the two of you. Overall for team slayer your team just has to win. Try being MVP for ranked games as much as possible this helps for ranking up. Good luck.
