halo 3 question wth question?

well...i bought halo 3 at walmart...but i didn't get a 48-hour-trial xbl gold card with it....were they giving that out only at the launch events,and not now?

Usually free XBL promotions like that are only available at launch. GTA4 did the same thing. They only do that to boost sales, and once they sell enough they stop doing the promo.

it was a limited time offer, they do it with the most popular live games at the time, i think CoD4 has that offer now.

yes where i am from they only gave you it the first month it came out.
but im not sure about it where you are from. it could also be a mistake.
i would call and ask

they were inside the games for the first couple of months, and then they reached their original goal of sales and stopped putting them in there. i got ripped off too, don't worry.
