halo 3 question?

ok i am making an infection place in high ground for my friends and i deleted all of the respawns outside and put attacker and defender ones inside but when we start the game we are outside and wen we die we stay outside y is this
i trapped the doors and want the match to be inside

When forging any maps, make sure that when you begin you change the gametype to what you want the map to be for. For this situation, you would need to change it to infection. To do this, begin forge, push up on the D-pad to go into edit mode, press start, and go down to change gametype. Also make sure you are using enough of these spawn and starting points. It could be a Halo 3 glitch. The game is riddled with glitches like that. Sorry about your map! It sounds like a great concept. Because of problems like this, I have turned away from Halo and am now interested in Haze, Resistance: Fall of Man, and Killzone.
