Halo 3 Ranked Team Slayer Problem?

Ok so i went to play ranked team slayer and it said i needed new maps so i went and downloaded both the legendary and heroic map packs. After i did that i went and trued to play and it still said that i didnt have the necessary maps to play so now i have no idea what to do
i tried the going into custom games idea that peopel said and all the maps are there and i restarted the 360 but still dosent work

This might work, it seems to work for my friend, because this happens to him sometimes.

Go to custom games, then go to the choose map menu, then it should say "Loading downloadable content" or something like that then go back to matchmaking and it should work.

Again, this may not work for you, but my friend says he has no problems when he does this.

Restart your 360 if that doesn't work, then go to custom games and load every new maps,if that doesn't work i don't know what else to do

Cathal's idea works. It happens to me some times. Before you play though, go back to the map selection for custom games and make shure your maps are there.
