Ah, this can get very aggravating. The thing you need to keep in mind when playing any ranked match is you need to have a positive kill spread (have more kills then deaths). And you have to score as high as your partner. If your doubles partner is getting say 15 kills and you only got 5 you won’t gain a higher rank. So if you want to increase your highest kill every match be sure to keep up with your partner and have a positive kill spread.
