Halo clone games

I have played Halo a LOT because it is a very nice and entertaining game. But i have heard that there were many failed ventures of games which tried to be comparable to Halo with similar theme of gameplay, but never succedded.

Anyone played such a game. Share your opinion about it.

Well, I never played any other game similar or based on original Halo theme.

Sure they might have failed...for obvious reasons!
