halo movie?

does anyone know anything FOR SURE about the halo movie i ahve been hearing about? if you just have heard rumors i don't need that. but does anyone know when it comes out or even a trailer for it??

i was just looking at IMDB and there isnt a thing that indicates its been canceled.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the pulled the plug on it. They haden't even started filiming yet and it was getting over budget. Peter Jackson was going to be the films producer, but it looks like he couldn't even save it.
'ahem, after checking on IMDB, it said that FOX bought the rights to Halo and they will continue working on it, so it's still on, but those are really all the detals I could find.
