Help unmute people in Halo 3?

i tried everything.. i fixed volume, went to the public chat thing, I want to hear people. i can't hear my own team.. it just has the muted sign. I dunno what to do

If u muted them than just choice the look at their profileand unmute them, but it mayb that i forgot were but u can choose which ppl u want to hear and u mite have choosen ur friends only

are u under 18. if so, parental controls will be enabled and u need to turn these off in your xbox settings to hear people not in your friends list.
