Help with Halo 3 for Xbox 360?

Hi. This is going to sound really stupid, but do I have to make a new profile to do a different difficulty for Halo 3? I beat it on normal and now I want to go through again on heroic. It seems like I should be able to just restart my single player mode, but I can't figure out how.

just change the difficulty with x i think or start then start at arrival

no just start on the first level with it

Just change the difficulty setting in the pre game lobby, but why heroic? go straight to legendary, you get the gamer points and acheivement for heroic by default, its a bit harder, and requires a few tactical choices, but it will make you a better player(spray and pray just doesn't cut it, period) in the long run, you get smashed at first, but you'll be amazed how quickly your accuracy increases and the bragging rights are definately worth it.

All You Have To Do Is Before You Start The Level You Change The Diffculty

You can start on any level of the campaign. From the main menu, click Campaign. Then go up to Mission, then choose which one you want. You can also choose the difficulty.
