help with halo 3?

just recently my halo 3 stopped working because i sprayed some cologne and it accidently landed on my disc.
i tried putting some rubbing alcohol on it and some other products and it still didnt work,so i just gave up on it.and just a few days a go i tried to play it and it worked.
but it wont load any maps and its really annoying.
i also tried loading the maps on xbox live and they still wont load.anything i can do to make them load.

hmmm, this is a toughy! have you tried rubbing alcohol. if not try other products too. also check to see if the maps will load on xbox live.
