how come in the middle of halo 3 online, the score box keeps coming up...

...and at the bottom says "starting game" ? Its like the thing when you die but it says starting game at the bottom of the box?

This is mainly due to either a bad connection with the host, or the host quiting the game, and the game tries to find a new host for the game. To avoid something like this happening though, or at least shorten your chances of this happening: Before you go into matchmaking, press the 'X' button, and for preferences, search under 'Good Connection'. That way, you won't have to deal with a bad host. =)

lagggggg someone has a really bad connection and they're making everyone play slow and glitchy. to confirm, check next to their gamertag and the bars that are usually green will most likely be small and red

Check to see if someone has left the game during play. It will restart it so while that person is disconnecting nothing can happen and you can get back to playing asap
