How do I play solo on Halo 3?

Haha, okaii! I know this is a ridiculous question but I really don't know how to fix this.

I just bought Halo 3 and when I go to play Solo it signs me in as guest and wont let me use my gamer profile. It signs me in as both and I can't get it to not do that. It wont let me play it on solo because it does that! How do I make it stop doing that so I can playyyy the game!!!?? thanks.

umm are you getting signed into two profiles or just a guest? because if so cant you hit the guide button and click sign in or sign out then if it lets u do either pick your gamer profile or go to sign in and pick it. if that doesnt work do u have rockband or guitar hero? maybe you have a different cord plugged in making your controller number 2 so when u sign in it signs u in as a guest? umm if not the only other thing i could say is call into microsoft. too bad my 360 is broken atm lol
