How do I unlock all my spartan armor for Halo 3?

Yo, I'm playing halo 3 and want my shweeeeet gear. BUT i'm not sure how to unlock it. Do I rank up online to obtain it or do I get it by completing legendary and normal and heroic? Please answer!

ok i suggest going to google and searching that up ok.. or ill do step to step instructions.

1. Ok u have to search a level and at this place it shows this symbol and if u go on it it shows a section called spartan armour.

2. A robot will appear to u and says he needs some items and he will be willing to trade the armour for the items.

3. Get the items (items are found not just in the level but.. levels before that one) and place them in ur storage

4. And at the time he says to give it to him simply give all the items (the time is said during conversation).

5. Then he will give u the spartan armour and u can wear each piece.

hope that helps ( i really dunno the lv just search : spartan armour in level then find it or u can search all lvs till u find the symbol).
