How do u play in third person in halo 3 cause i see people do it in youtube?

can u play halo 3 in 1st and 3rd person and how

The third person view is when you go to your main menu and go into the theater mode of that game. When you go into theater mode, it will let you watch any player at any angle in 3rd person mode.

You can also "unlock" 3rd person mode if you are using a Missile Pod Launcher, it doesn't let you stay in 3rd person but, it is the closest you will get during a game.

you can't although I'm not 100% sure on this, the times when you go 3rd p is in vehicles or with turrets
