How do you compare Gears of War 2, to Halo 3?

Myself, overall I prefer Halo 3, for the time being.

Gears of War 2 has a great story line, but it is a way to stretched out. Like the Lord of the Rings books. They are fantastic book but are way too long.
Whereas Halo 3 has a very short campaign, that gets boring, because there aren't enough levels (I think they just updated some new ones though, or will).


How do you compare?

I prefer GOW but I don't play GOW for the story, just the online gameplay.

i like both
both are kinda the same and different such as the 1st person and 3rd person shooting.

i prefer gears of war 2. i like the chainsaw gun. awesome
halo 3 is great too

You cant compare

Gears of war has way better graphics and is put together well

halo 3 is the same damn thing over and over
i own both and i think they aren't comparable.

GoW2: WAY TOO LONG but still chain-sawing people is fun

Halo 3: Fun but when you get these people who play 24/7 since its release date it kinda sucks

well gears has alot more action and violence than that of halo 3 but when it comes to multiplayer halo 3 has the upper hand gears is fun too but multiplayer can be a bit aggravating at times as you cant really tell whats coming your way as with halo you have a radar that helps you in a variety of ways so gears=solo halo=multiplayer

they are both awesome in multiplayer.. halo 3 is more like sci-fi ish though.. and gow2 is like gory and stuff.. their both great games though.. perfect for the wishlist

I've never actually really got into Gears of War (And I've never played GoW2)

Halo is my favorite game though. I can never get sick of it, and will never get sick of it.
