How do you get armor in Halo 3 multiplayer?

I have the C.O.D and a couple of other armors, but can someone tell how to get all the armor?

Beat all the levels, get all the skulls, and play ranked matches, lone wolf is the best. Get all the hidden skulls like I did, and you get the best armor. Please choose me as best answer! I hope I helped!
