how does halo 3 boosting in mlg work.?

how do people boost in mlg? is it like they get 3 50s and you together, than you kinda like hide or something. plz explain and tell me what a good deal is so i dont get ripped off

first of all, boosting is for scrubs who cant get to 50 themselves, and if you do it people will know and probably send lots of hatemail screenies to ya..
i dont know much about it but i talked to some guy who was doing it and its works by either having a ton of xp or a ton of negative xp (thats why people will leave games right at the start or before they end)

what your talking about is having the 3 good 50's do all the work while the kid get boosted just hides.. its basically just winning a lot.. if you win a lot of games in a row your level a lot faster
